A nice place with excellent food. We ate here two nights and it was very good both times. The service was good and a casual, familiar atmosphere.

We went to Le Trot for lunch before visiting Omaha beach and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. This small restaurant uses only the freshest locally sourced ingredients and this is evident in the quality of its dishes. Service is great as well as the value! We ordered the menu du jour and it only cost us €15 (see posted images). Exceptional value for such high quality. After our lunch the chef came outside and we spoke with him for a while. Super nice and friendly person with an very obvious passion for what he does. Highly recommended.

Great place, but the service was off. I don't know if it was my French that anoid them or just my face. They had a resting face that seamed unhappy to deal with us! Anyway the food was very nice and the chef was very competent and happy to chat, nice guy. Reservation are recommended and it get busy. Still have people smoking next to diners out side.

Was staying in the town for the 80th Anniversary of DDay and this happened to be the only open restaurant in town. Lucky for us. The food was superb and the staff was very friendly despite the large amount of people trying to eat and drink.

Absolutely loved everything. Very accommodating to us tourists even in the doldrums of the offseason. We ordered two “gourmet meals” and gourmet they were indeed. Main courses were steak and veal, both excellent in presentation and taste. Le Trot is a unique experience and a remarkable value. I am appreciative of their dedication to delivering excellently prepared, fresh dishes. Also, we loved the holiday decorations!

We had one entrecôte and three pizzas. The menu is small but original. Service was extremely fast and friendly. The atmosphere is okay, but the food stands out — especially the entrecôte, which was tender and full of flavor. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
